Mocomp Solutions personnel have knowledge and practical hands on experience
in all aspects of DSC High Pressure Air Systems and Control. The HP Air System is a
fairly low tec system and when correctly designed and installed, with drain points
strategically placed for the collection and removal of the inevitable condensation from the
internal surfaces of the HP Air components, requires very little maintenance.
The System is initiated from several High Pressure Compressor's, used to supply a
source of HP Air to a predetermined quantity of Air Pressure Vessels "APV's", used
for storage, and when used on line with the DSC provide the power required to
compensate the heave movement.
Mocomp Solutions can supply and our engineers can assist with the installation of all
HP Air Equipment, whether it be replacement of existing components, full design
and replacement of outdated equipment to prolong the working life of existing equipment,
or the installation of a complete upgraded Systems.

Control Console and Lower Manifolds

The HP Air System also incorporates the DSC
control system, which comprises of a lower
Standpipe Control Manifold, controlled from
the Driller's Console, situated in the Driller's 
Control Shack. This allows the Driller to
control the DSC without the need to introduce
HP Air into the Driller's working environment
due to the control systems design.
Mocomp Solutions can design and supply
all manifold and control consoles with the
ability to custom build any assemblies
specifically for the Rig's requirements. 



Upper Standpipe Manifolds

The HP Air System also has an Upper Manifold Assembly. The Upper Manifold's primary function is to convert the HP Air supply hard piping, to loop hose assemblies, that feed the DSC Assembly, when travelling up and down the Derrick.  The Upper Manifold's secondary function is that it has built in safety shut off Valves, a safety feature to limit whip, in the event of a burst hose.  There are also manual isolation valves to enable the renewal of one Hose Assembly without the need to drain the complete system.
